Vanilla Vodka

VANILLA VODKA

Want to be prepared to impress those unexpected guests? Vanilla Vodka is a great all-purpose infusion to have kicking around. Use it for White or Black Russians, Martinis, or a Screwdriver.

25 oz. vodka

2 whole vanilla beans

1. Wash vanilla beans.

2. Slice both beans open but not in half.

3. Place vanilla beans in bottom of infusion jar.

4. Add vodka, covering the beans, and seal the jar.

5. Let infuse for 1–2 weeks out of direct sunlight, tasting and gently shaking regularly.

6. Strain the vodka into a clean bottle, cap, and refrigerate.
